Brian Fitzgerald, a database administrator and owner of ExaGridDba, serves troubled financial businesses on Wall Street in New York City. He has more than 20 years of experience as a system administrator with Oracle certification. He learned system administration while earning his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 1995. After talking with an alumnus in 1994, Brian was pointed in the direction of Wall Street, where he became a contracted Solaris™ administrator at Credit Suisse® for more than five years.
For the last 20 years, technical skill has disappeared overseas and companies have been left without competent administrators and managers. As databases deteriorate, offshore teams are no longer effective at handling this work.
Typically, Brian works for distressed businesses with mismanaged or poorly performing databases and administrative groups. If you need someone with a high amount of technical skill to come in to handle urgent matters, Brian can work with the database software, focusing on the smallest detail. He can communicate with support groups and management to fix any problems companies face.
